ritebuys.com took my money
I have ordered a TERK SIR6 home Sirius antenna form Rite Buys (www.ritetbuys.com) on November, 8 and still have not received my order and was charged for it. It has been over a month and the on line order status still states “Arrived”. I have emailed the company several times with a confirming read receipt. I never received any reply to these emails or a read receipt, I did receive a confirming that the emails have been deleted, great way to handle a problem, delete it and forget about it.
I then tried calling for the status of my order, after giving the person on the phone my order information he put me on hold to check with his shipping manger, properly the same person. He returned and told me “your order should have shipped and you should be receiving it soon”. Did anyone look up my order? What is the deal with “should have shipped”, sounds like there really is not a shipping department. I then asked him if he could tell me what date that my order shipped, his return was “thank you for calling” and then he hung up the phone. I have filed for a return of my money with American Express and hope that the Rite Buys will take them a little more seriously then me.
So my loss will be your gain. Take this information and pass the word and make sure that you do not use this company.

New digital camera
I bought a new digital camera today. My old Canon G2 was a little too big for me to carry around. As you can see from the photo the battery from my Canon is about half the size of the Sony. Now I will have to get working on adding a picture Gallery to this blog.

I built a Binaca Cannon
I found this at www.scitoys.com and was on AOTS so I decided to give it a try.
I used 1/2 shelving (had it in the garage) and cut one piece 3in x 2 1/2in and a second piece 3in x 5in with a 25% edge.
On the 3in x 5in I drilled a 5/16 hole and used a dremal to make a custom fit for the sparker. I soldered some wire on the sparker and then used a little hot clue to help hold the sparker in place.
On the 3in x 2 1/2in piece I drilled one 1/8 hole for the wire and two for the screws to attach for the film can cover.
I tinned the end of the wires and use a little hot clue to hold the wires in place. Then I uses hot clue to hold the two pieces together.
Sprayed a little Binaca in file can and attached it to the cover and boom!
Note: I tried hair spray and blew it apart, if you use hair spray only use a little.

An Article About Working From Home
A friend sent me a link to an article titled Working View from the Cube: Working from home: inspiration for the undisciplined The best line is “my former office work experience as an extended coffee break with scattered bursts of productivity.”.
One of the best things I have ever done in my life is to leave the corporate world and work from home. You can even ask my family, they have never seen me so happy.
